Elite Summer Program 2016

September 1st, 2016

The Elite Summer Training Program finished up today after another great summer. We had many returning athletes who were able to build upon their results from last year, as well as new athletes that dedicated themselves to be their best.

It was 16 weeks of hard work, fun, and some INCREDIBLE RESULTS! While all our athletes set personal bests before they headed out to their NCAA school or hockey training camp we had some make absolutely incredible gains (or is it #gainz?).

One example was Ian Blacker of the London Knights OHL Hockey team. He tested in early June with the club and then when he re-tested in mid-August his Chin Ups went from 8 reps to 21 reps, his Bench Press went from 7 reps to 15 reps, and his Vertical Jump increased 4 inches. His bodyweight also went up about 5 pounds in that time (of muscle).

TRULY INCREDIBLE!! We promise results and I’m very confident in what we do but not even I can guarantee that with everyone but it is possible with dedication and hard work.

Here’s where some of our athletes are off to now:

Greg Campbell-Union College (NCAA Hockey)
Ross Sloan-Plattsburgh State (NCAA Hockey)
Ben Blacker-Western Michigan University (NCAA Hockey)
Ian Blacker-London Knights (OHL)
Josh Kosack-Green Bay (USHL)
Jackson Bales-Oakville Blades (Captain, OJHL)
Jon Donville-Deerfield (US Prep School-Lacrosse)
Mike Botiz-Salmon Arm, BC (BCHL)

It was a great summer and we had some fun while working hard. IMG_1925

To all the athletes that were part of the Elite Summer program at some point, thank you for your belief in our system and for your effort. It was a great group of athletes and even better people. We will miss you at TheDA. Come visit whenever you’re home!
